The Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Act received Royal Assent and was officially repealed on the 20th April 2018. 
t came after a campaign, led by Scottish Labour MSP James Kelly, to remove the Act was successfully passed by a majority of MSPs last month. It is the first time that an Act has been repealed in the Scottish Parliament. 

The Act was criticised for unfairly criminalising football fans for behaviour which would not otherwise have been illegal outside of a footballing context.
