What is Action on Sectarianism?

YouthLink Scotland, the National Agency for Youth Work has set up the first independent public website designed to challenge sectarianism in Scotland, supported by the Scottish Government.

Accessible on computers, tablets and mobile phones, this website will act as a central gateway to information and resources tackle sectarianism in Scotland by providing tailored user access to four distinct target groups:

Children and Young people

Adults: parents, carers, community groups

AoS Network: teachers, youth workers, academics, policy officers, community activists

The Colours of our Scarves project is a programme tackling inequality and prejudice within Scottish sport and Scottish society in general.

We work with a range of stakeholders within Scottish sport to ensure the environment and the way people interact with each other through sport is done in a positive and respectful manner. The project looks to address social ills such as sectarianism, homophobia, sexism, racism and all other forms of prejudice and discrimination.

We are currently looking to recruit a part-time project worker and will be accepting applications up until Thursday the 19th of July, with interviews taking place on the 23rd and 24th of July.

The successful candidate will receive £100 per event for planning, travel and delivery.
