This activity raises awareness of Sectarianism and how to react to it.
- To encourage participants to think about situations where sectarianism might occur and how they can react to it.
- To raise awareness of the fact that everything may not be what it seems on the surface.
This activity develops possitive attitudes in children and encourages respect for different cultures and beliefs.
Purpose
- To develop positive attitudes in children towards others whose gender, language, religion or culture, for example, are different from their own.

This pack contains a series of 7 lessons devised by teachers for teachers. Lessons are aimed at Primary 7, Reading, writing, talking and listening skills are all involved. Learning Intentions and Outcomes are stated for each lesson. Activities provide the opportunity for pair and group work. Each Lesson as a Follow Up. The lessons are intended to promote discussion and most tackle challenging subjects.
